Secondary Lens Implantation Patients who have had older style cataract surgery will need implantation of an intraocular lens. The surgeons at MIMIS, using minimally invasive techniques, can implant an intraocular lens. In many cases, this can eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses for visual distance.
